Printing/Donation Update!

Hey all!

An update is long overdue! The coloring book is DONE and ready for print! If you recall, when the Kickstarter campaign launched, our goal was to illustrate the book and donate 500 coloring books…well, with the support of all of you (and many others), we now have the capacity to print and donate around TEN THOUSAND books!

Needless to say, the logistics to donate that many books is much more complex, but it’s a work in progress!

I’ve launched a simple website at ekproject.org and will be soliciting requests from organizations/hospitals/fabulous kids that would like bulk orders of the coloring book. I also plan to distribute coloring books to larger hospitals and organizations in the NYC area and beyond. The goal is to ensure that donations reach kids who will really enjoy them, and don’t wind up sitting in a closet somewhere!

Here’s where you can help! Please help me spread the word to anyone who may be interested in a bulk coloring book donation. Go to ekproject.org and click “Request a Donation."

In an effort to minimize shipping costs (and maximize donations!), I’d like to collect as many donation sites as possible before printing. This way, donations can be shipped directly from the printer instead of being shipped to me and back out again (shipping is expensive!)

As soon as the books are printed, the rewards you selected (if applicable) will be on their way to you! I’ll keep you posted.
